Administrative License Suspension (ALS)
DUI Defense
Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs in the state of Georgia is a serious matter.

You can lose your license, your job, and even your freedom.

You need serious representation to protect your rights.
If you are charged with a DUI in Georgia, you MUST know the 10 Day Rule. If you refused to take a blood, breath or urine test, or you took one and your result was over the legal limit, you have only 10 days from the arrest date to request an ALS (Administrative License Hearing).

If you do not take action, your driver's license may be suspended for one year

The 10 Day Rule applies to you if:

1. You refused to take any of the 3 tests;
2. You took one of the three tests and your blood alcohol content was over the legal limit of 0.08;
3. After you tried to take the tests the police officer stated “you refused;”
4. You were under 21 on the day of the arrest and your test result was .02 or higher;
5. You had a CDL in your truck when arrested and your blood alcohol level was .04 or higher; or
6. You do not know what your blood alcohol level was.

When charged with a DUI, it is very important that you know your rights and protect them. The state of Georgia has recently cracked down on its DUI laws.
A DUI arrest does not automatically result in the loss of license, inflated insurance rates, jail or other penalties. You must act fast and call our firm now.

A qualified attorney may be able to identify and present defenses which you may not be aware of.  An attorney may also be able to present motions on your behalf that prohibit the introduction of evidence that may be harmful to your case.  An attorney can also counsel you as to decisions you must make and lessen the impact of consequences of charges brought against you.

Remember, the jurisdiction will prosecute you with well-trained and experienced prosecutors - they represent the State of Georgia, NOT YOU.

From your initial consultation through the final resolution of your case, we remain dedicated to your rights and freedoms. We treat every client with respect, and are committed to ensuring that your rights are protected throughout the criminal process.
